Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is currently seeking a journey-level IT professional to fill an IT System Administrator vacancy located in the headquarters Financial Systems & Consulting Services unit of the Accounting and Financial Services (AFS) Division. In this role, you will be responsible for the daily operations of the core financial system, Transportation Reporting and Accounting Information System (TRAINS). TRAINS is a critical department information system and requires an up-time goal of 100%, as such this position will work independently to maintain the availability, functionality, integrity and efficiency of the system. In addition, this position will be responsible for managing all month, fiscal and biennial end closing processes and all allocations, billing and redistribution processes.
