Under the direction of the Chief, “Contract Intake” Branch, a Staff Services Manager I: the Associate Governmental Program Analyst (AGPA) provides independent analytical, technical, and organizational expertise needed to for the more complex execution and compliance of contracts and grants within the Caltrans’ Division of Local Assistance (DLA). The AGPA is responsible for contract and grant screening, review, analysis, and reporting of contracts and grants executed within DLA handling the most complex programs. Will work independently to resolve contract and grant issues as they arise. The AGPA will assist in the development of training materials that include flowcharts, diagrams, dashboards, and procedures. The AGPA is responsible for providing assistance to DLA staff, supervisors, and management regarding contract status, administration and compliance. The AGPA will have adhere to ethical practices and policies, ensure best practices for the State, and demonstrate a positive attitude and a commitment to providing quality service that is accurate, and exceeds customers’ expectations.
