ITD currently has an opening for a Program Specialist in the IT Administration area of Enterprise Technology Services.
This position will help prepare or assist in the preparation of administrative reports, studies, and specialized research projects; prepare news releases, brochures, posters, newsletters and other materials; participate in or conduct surveys, inspections, or reviews to determine communication equipment needs. The position will also develop technical written materials such as policies, technical manuals or rules/regulations; create communications/outreach products for both internal and external use; assist in monitoring and tracking communication expenditures as well as assist in other administrative functions such as onboarding new employees and preparing invoices for payment. In order to be successful in this position the candidate must be collaborative, task-oriented, have strong attention to detail, and be adaptable to change.

Example of Duties
- Order and track IT communication equipment for the organization
- Track and monitor IT encumbrances and expenditures
- Assist asset management staff in tracking and monitoring inventory
- Assist IT Administrative Manager in budget planning and allocation for communication equipment and services
- Manage Remote Access requests for new IT contractors
- Execute IT invoice processing procedures
- Develop technical written materials for ETS and IT processes and procedures
Some knowledge of management practices; program or project planning and implementation.
Experience developing and evaluating policies and procedures.
Experience utilizing problem solving strategies as a responsibility of the job; compiling and analyzing information and/or data and writing reports and/or correspondence in a work setting; providing customer service; collaborating with other business units, agencies, or organizations; technical writing and communication strategies; advanced computer skills; experience interpreting and applying laws and regulation; interpreting and applying contracts; explaining technical program related policies and procedures; reviewing documents for accuracy, completeness and compliance.
