Auditor Principal Supervisor

Up to $98,971/annually

Serve as the Office of Audit’s External Audit Unit Supervisor, planning, coordinating, and establishing reporting and performance metrics. Assign and review audits of consultants, grant recipients, railroads, utilities, and transit providers to ensure that audits are completed in adherence with generally accepted government auditing standards. Assist the Audit Director in providing leadership, supervision, and oversight, directing, and providing technical training and professional development opportunities, supervising field audit examination engagements. This full-time, benefit eligible position provides the option to telework, with in-state travel (up to 15%), including some overnight travel.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Three years of professional supervisory auditing experience OR four years of advanced professional auditing experience that demonstrates:

(*NOTE: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business (with an accounting concentration) substitutes for six months of advanced professional experience)

* Experience conducting financial and/or compliance audits, and/or investigations.
* Experience in analyzing financial statements and/or business operations and/or overhead rates.
* Experience applying generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and American Institute of Certified Public Accountant (AICPA) Standards for Attestation Engagements.
Experience reviewing and analyzing legal compliance requirements.
