Auditor Principal Supervisor

Serve as the Office of Audit’s Highway Construction Audit & Investigations Supervisor, overseeing audits and investigations of highway construction projects and highway construction operations accounting and engineering data. The position supervises, guides, and reviews the work of other advanced-level auditors to ensure financial records and reports conform to auditing standards, engineering specifications and comply with state and federal laws. This full-time, benefit eligible positions provides the option to telework, with in-state travel (up to 25%), including some overnight travel.

Three years of professional supervisory auditing experience OR four years of advanced professional auditing experience that demonstrates:
(*NOTE: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business (with an accounting concentration) substitutes for six months of advanced professional experience)
Experience conducting financial and/or compliance audits, and/or investigations.
Experience applying generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), operational auditing concepts and compliance with auditing principles.
Experience analyzing financial data and legal compliance requirements, including laws, federal regulations, and state rules, policies, and procedures.
