A day in the life:

  • Evaluate organizational systems and develop improvements.
  • Conduct performance audits and develop procedural solutions.
  • Act as the liaison for Region 1 Maintenance and Operations campsite cleanup.
  • Develop, draft and implement programs, policies and agreements.
  • Analyze and review procedures, policies and communication methods.
  • Develop strategic work plans for ongoing programs within Region 1 Maintenance and Operations.
  • Participate on committees and meetings to facilitate communication and operational effectiveness.
  • Write emergency or planned event operations documents.
  • Work is primarily in an office environment using a personal computer.
  • Occasional work outdoors at project sites with potential exposure to extreme hazards and may need to walk on rough terrain and stoop or bend around structures or equipment.
  • Regular travel within the region is expected, including during hazardous weather.

What we need:

Any combination of experience and education equivalent to five years of experience that typically supports the knowledge and skills for the classification

OR

A bachelor’s degree in business or public administration, behavioral or social sciences, finance, political science or any degree demonstrating the capacity for the knowledge and skills; AND two years professional-level evaluative, analytical and planning work.
Driving is an essential function of this position. You must have a valid driver license and an acceptable driving record. We will conduct pre-employment driving records checks on our final candidate(s). Your license does not have to be issued in Oregon to be considered.
