Join our team in Salem as a senior network analyst! In this role you will be responsible for system design, implementation and support of network services that enable emerging agency revenue generating and congestion management programs, specifically tolling and use-base transportation system pricing. A day in the life:
Build a vision and strategy for fulfilling agency network requirements.
Incorporate security considerations into all levels of planning and construction.
Develop and document technical architectures that represent the program vision and strategy.
Collaborate with agency personnel, other government groups and industry bodies.
Perform business analysis and requirement gathering for the construction of specific solutions.
Oversee all stages of solution buildout, including design, development, testing, pilot and production.
Create system documentation and guides and perform training and familiarization to operators and stakeholders.
Diagnose and resolve reported system issues.
Review contracts for strategic alignment and practical viability.
Work at a computer terminal in a normal office environment, managing assignments with conflicting requirements and tight deadlines.
Requires travel to customer sites to work with customer and to install and troubleshoot network equipment.
Occasional off shift and weekend work is required.

What we need:
Seven (7) years of information systems experience in: The design, deployment and operational management of local and wide area enterprise networks
An associate’s degree or higher in computer science, information technology, or related field, OR completion of a two (2) year accredited vocational training program in information technology or related field;
AND 5 years of information systems experience in: The design, deployment and operational management of local and wide area enterprise networks
A bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or related field
AND three (3) years of information systems experience in: The design, deployment and operational management of local and wide area enterprise networks
A master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
AND one (1) year of information systems experience in: The design, deployment and operational management of local and wide area enterprise networks
The State of Oregon requires all executive branch employees to complete their COVID-19 vaccination series or have an approved exception to the requirement due to a medical condition or sincerely held religious belief.
