Salary Range: $4,185.00 – $6,480.00

The role:  

Bring your supervisory experience and come join our DMV Driver Services management team! In this role, you will oversee a team of employees as they produce a high volume of work. You will also track workload, identify trends, recommend strategies and adjust priorities to meet goals. Apply now!

A day in the life:

·       Direct, assign, coordinate and supervise the work of the unit.

·       Recruit, interview and hire new staff.

·       Monitor production, develop workload projection and staffing plans to ensure efficiency and accurately document unit operations.

·       Demonstrate change leadership and oversee unit morale and culture.

·       Finalize accurate timekeeping records and approve overtime, compensatory time, leave requests and timesheets.

·       Investigate and respond to employee grievances.

·       Recommend and implement corrective work plans, coach employees, document behavior issues and administer disciplinary action.

·       Participate or chair various work groups and communicate pertinent information to the unit and peers.

·       Conduct new hire training and ongoing trainings as changes occur.

·       Work is performed in a typical office environment and may include occasional standing, walking, crouching, bending and lifting up to 30 pounds.

What we need:

Three years of lead work, supervision, or progressively related experience.

OR

A bachelor’s degree in a related field.
