This position will also have a focus in rail at-grade crossing safety and transit/rail system safety and security program planning and administration.

The Transportation Supervising Rail Officer position will lead the Department’s Transit System Safety Program. This position requires work with public and private railroads, as well as local and federal governmental agencies in establishing safety and security programs. Additionally, this position will provide lead support services for project design and planning activities for system safety and security projects developed by the Department of Transportation or Public/Private Railroads.
Full-time (40 hours per week), First shift
Location: Department of Transportation: New Haven, CT
