THE ROLE:
The Transportation Supervising Rail Officer position will lead the Department’s Transit System Safety Program. This position requires work with public and private railroads, as well as local and federal governmental agencies in establishing safety and security programs. Additionally, this position will provide lead support services for project design and planning activities for system safety and security projects developed by the Department of Transportation or Public/Private Railroads.
POSITION HIGHLIGHTS:
Full-time (40 hours per week), First shift
Location: Department of Transportation: New Haven, CT
For Office Supervisors: Supervisors can expect to spend roughly half of their working hours, if not more, in the office, in order to execute upon their job functions and supervise their team. Time in the office may fluctuate based on circumstances and the team being supervised.
