The Virginia Department of Transportation’s (VDOT) is excited to offer and announce an opportunity to serve as an Engineer in our Alternative Project Delivery Division. This position is located in Richmond, Virginia.

The Alternative Project Delivery (APD) Division is seeking an engineering team member to support the development of Design-Build and other alternate delivery projects using engineering practices and principles to support the construction delivery program. The selected candidate will assist in the selection, procurement, negotiation and administration of complex Design-Build transportation projects. The selected candidate will participate in the development, implementation and monitoring of policies, procedures, guidance and practices for alternative project delivery in accordance with state and federal procurement laws. The selected candidate will also support the Division in the completion of various administrative related tasks such as budgeting, review of contract task orders and task order invoices, etc.
