The Virginia Department of Transportation’s (VDOT) is excited to offer and announce an opportunity to serve as an Engineer Construction in our Construction Division. The Central Office Construction Division is seeking an experienced individual to support the advertisement and award of the Statewide Construction Project Delivery program. This position is located in Richmond, Virginia. Primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to supporting, training, and mentoring staff on project submissions, contract assembly, project advertisement, and post letting activities. Additional responsibilities include acting as a resource to the estimating section for AASHTOWare program suite, extracting data from AASHTOWare Preconstruction for reporting and analysis, and assisting with the proposal development and contract execution processes. In addition, this position may support other initiatives and functional areas of the Construction Division.
