The Virginia Department of Transportation’s (VDOTs) Central Office Construction Division is seeking a collaborative team member to provide programmatic guidance and oversight for the Department’s Consultant Construction Engineering & Inspection (CEI) program.
The successful candidate will oversee the procurement and administration of the Departments Construction CEI contract. Duties include but are not limited to: leading CEI procurements and acting as the Division negotiator for new contracts; developing policies and procedures to promote consistent procurement and administration of CEI contracts; support, train, and mentor Central Office and District staff on procurement and administration of CEI contracts; performing statistical analysis and the development of reports; and preparing and presenting to senior internal and external stakeholders. The successful candidate will complete onsite project reviews and support other initiatives and functional areas of the Construction Division.
