The Construction Division is seeking an individual to provide statewide support of project controls services with a focus on project scheduling, contract change management, and claims analysis. The successful candidate will develop schedule specifications requiring contractors to prepare and submit progress schedules to be used during delivery phases; ensure contract time determination schedules and reports are developed and used according to policy; establish congruent policy applicable to projects advertised for construction by the Construction Division; perform scheduling services for Alternative Project Delivery Division; assist other functions in the Project Controls Section including Construction Quality Improvement Program and contract change management; support and maintain VDOT’s Primavera P6 enterprise system; analyze schedule impacts, mitigate risks and defend Commonwealth against claims; prepare reports on schedule specifications, compliance issues, status of projects, and value of claims or related information; prepare reports cataloging existing schedule policy, policy improvements, and performance metrics.
