The U.S. DOT Volpe Center is seeking Supervisory Transportation Analysts to fill multiple technical Division Chief positions across the organization. You will be responsible for developing and implementing transportation policies and programs and providing technical guidance on regulations, policies, strategic planning and coordination of programs and affiliated initiatives and activities.
As a Supervisory Transportation Analyst, you will:
Manage the Division’s portfolio of projects and staff to deliver highly complex technical products and programs on time and within budget.
Strengthen existing internal and external relationships and build new business opportunities.
Manage programs and projects in accordance with DOT Strategic Plans and project management standards and best industry practices, including developing and managing Inter Agency Agreements (IAA) and ensuring the Division’s portfolio of projects meets the high priority needs of the DOT.
Partner and collaborate with the management team to implement and enhance mission requirements.
Manage the budget and operation of the Division, including supervising, developing, leveraging diversity and hiring Division staff.
