Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is currently seeking two skilled Traffic Design Engineers (TE2) to support the Olympic Region Traffic Office in designing signing, illumination, work zone traffic controls, traffic signals and intelligent transportation systems. They support the department’s mission by ensuring highway construction projects are designed and constructed in compliance with standard specifications, contract specifications and contract plans. The work of this position improves the safety, quality, and capacity of the State’s transportation system.
