Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is currently seeking a Highway Maintenance Worker 1 to support the safe and efficient movement of goods, services, and people throughout the area. This position performs a variety of highway and right of way maintenance duties, including cleaning, maintaining, and repairing facilities at the Schrag, Sprague Lake, Hatton, Telford, and Keller Ferry rest areas. The selected candidate will be responsible for maintaining clean, functional, and safe public facilities for travelers. This role also requires effective communication both within the work group and with external customers and partners.
