Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is currently seeking a Fiscal Specialist Supervisor to join the Olympic Region (OR) Highway Maintenance Program to support WSDOT’s mission and the assigned maintenance organizational units within the region by ensuring accuracy and transparency in fiscal activities and providing general office support. Under the direction of the Assistant Superintendent, this position will supervise the Area maintenance Fiscal Technician(s) in the performance of fiscal record keeping and support services. This position will perform complex technical fiscal and financial reporting including analysis, planning, interpreting, and review of a fiscal operations involving an overlap or combination of disciplines. Additionally, this position will establish procedures, standards, and priorities of the multifunctional Office of the Maintenance Superintendent, providing supervision and unit oversight for administrative, fiscal, and budgetary authority on various facets of the WSDOT Area Maintenance Office. The Fiscal Specialist Supervisor is critical in fostering an inclusive and healthy work environment that challenges all staff to be respectful and professional.
