Financial Planning Analyst (TPS5)

Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) Budget and Financial Analysis Division in is currently seeking a Transportation Planning Specialist 5 to independently serve as a consulting expert regarding financial planning of statewide toll facilities. In this role, you will direct and conduct transportation economic and statistical research and analysis of complex data including sources and uses of funds in all agency programs, serve as an agency contact on bond compliance issues, and make recommendations for transportation long-range plans, mega-project financial plans, and other financial issues. The Financial Planning Analyst will work collaboratively with other staff in the unit, agency program experts, consultants, executives, Office of Financial Management (OFM), and legislative staff. Our top candidate will possess exceptional communication skills and a high level of professionalism as this position will communicate complex technical information to technical and non-technical audiences internal and external to the agency.
