Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is seeking a motivated transportation planning professional to lead key components of statewide projects under the guidance of a Transportation Planning Specialist 5. This position will be responsible for conducting advanced multimodal analyses, supporting community engagement, and contributing to policy development to advance a sustainable, integrated transportation system. As the Senior Multimodal Transportation Planner, you will develop methodologies, criteria, and guidelines that promote performance-based, collaborative decision-making. As a specialist on multidisciplinary teams, you will also provide technical assistance, engage with communities and stakeholders, and foster strong working relationships across WSDOT and with regional partners.
