Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) Headquarters Hydraulics Office is currently seeking a Hydraulics Business Manager (Transportation Technical Engineer) in Olympia, WA. This position will serve as a technical program specialist that will assist the State Hydraulics Engineer with the management of the business and asset management aspect of the Hydraulics Section: Stormwater, Fish Passage, Hydraulics, and Hydrology. This position will work with Statewide customers and specialty support groups within WSDOT to coordinate, schedule, and report on Hydraulics Office work and deliverables. In this role, you will be responsible to communicate hydraulics project development activities related to the Stormwater, Fish Passage, Hydraulics, and Hydrology sections, and plays and important role in scheduling, budgeting & reporting, workforce planning, contract management, and systems development to support workflow in the hydraulics office.
